criticism of Wikipedia: http://www.gamesradar.com/f/the-wtf-world-of-wikipedia/a-2008062510326553058
as much as I enjoy a wikipedia read, I do agree with the criticism. Wiki is pretty f#cked up here and there.

on a personal note:
Must come to terms with lack of excitement in personal life. Static, gormless; lack of international travel, prestige and hot women.
I really f#cked up after high school. I was so full of promise. I had it all, but now I’m a shrinking testicle. No balls at all.
I must turn this around. I am the master of the temple. Everyday must be full of little victories, determination and selfishness.
‘Death by comparison’—I’m going to be the guy that everyone compares themselves to. I will be the exception.
Failing that, I will have nothing to live for. This is my creed. NB: professional rivalry still on the cards.

⇒ taurism

In astrology, a cusp (from the Latin for spear or point) is the imaginary line that separates a sign in the zodiac or a house in the horoscope.

Because the solar disc has a diameter of approximately half a degree, it is possible for the sun to straddle the cusp as it moves across the sky. When this occurs at the moment of birth such a person is said to be "born on the cusp" and some believe that their life is influenced by the characteristics of both signs. For example, if an individual was born when the Sun (meaning the point at the centre of the solar disc) was located at 29 degrees, 50 minutes Gemini, then he might say that he was born on the cusp of Gemini and Cancer.

The belief that a person must be born within 1/2 a degree of the cusp to be influenced by the receding sign does not have universal agreement among astrologers. All astrologers agree that as the sun moves further away from the cusp, the influence of receding sun sign decreases. The disagreement concerns how far away the sun must be from the cusp before the influence of the receding sun sign disappears. Some astrologers hold that even when the sun is as far away as two degrees some influence of the receding sign is felt and thus such a person should be labeled as being "born on the cusp".

The concept of the cusp is sometimes also extended to a general belief in fuzziness of sign boundaries, so that even much smaller objects near a cusp may be described as taking on some of the features of the adjacent sign.

Aries/Taurus
The Aries/Taurus Cusp is from dates April 19 to April 23. The term for the Aries/Taurus is bullies. The Arian/Taurean is thought to be humorous, sensitive, money-oriented, nice, active, dynamic, talented, quiet, sensual, strong, opinionated, bold, flirtatious, sexual, eloquent, stable, dependable, helpful, practical, hard-working, extrovert, patient, athletic, aggressive, perseverance, and initiative. The Arian/Taurean is prone to aloof, quarrelsome, trouble-maker, phony, stubborn, hyper-sensitive, tries to fit in, jealous, easily influenced, high-strung, moody, changeability, fickle, head strong, and easily intimidated.

⇒ technical writing

Technical writers gather information from existing documentation, and from subject matter experts. A subject matter expert (SME) is any expert on the topic the writer is working on. Technical writers usually are not SMEs themselves—unless they're writing about creating good technical documentation.

Workers at many levels, and in many different fields, have a role in producing and distributing technical communications. A good technical writer needs strong language skills, and must understand the highly evolved conventions of modern technical communications. For technical documents to be useful, readers must understand and act on them without having to decode wordy and ambiguous prose.
