⇒ on the outside

it finally happened! got my lease, got my tenancy agreement, got my keys! I'm a new man! Check that one off my list of goals for the year. I think the first 2 months will be really tough but after that I'll be all settled and OK.

I really think this could be something good. It's like those times I leave Sydney--I have lightning bouts of homesickness and my mood swings from jubilant to panicked in seconds. But I gutted it out. In minutes, I was feeling better and havin' a great time. In the end, everything will be ok...it's only money, right?

I just need to put on a brave face for now...'cause I'm stoic like that.

now, bring me that big desk

⇒ please

praying sucks but i feel the need to (my hands are extremely tied at the moment):
Am I supposed to suffer forever? How long can I endure? Sometimes I convince myself that I can live like a monk but I know that other times I will need nice things to distract me from the emptiness of my life. What is this burden I have? Timing blows...economic uncertainty and recession right at the wrong time in my life. I see plenty of people propped up during these tough times by loved ones...hurts me even more

Tonight I'm tangled in my blanket of clouds
Dreaming aloud
Things just wont do without you, matter of fact
I'm on your back, I'm on your back, Im on your back

If you walk out on me, I'm walking after you
If you walk out on me, I'm walking after you

If you'd accept surrender, Ill give up some more
Weren't you adored
I cannot be without you, matter of fact
I'm on your back, I'm on your back, Im on your back

If you walk out on me, I'm walking after you
If you walk out on me, I'm walking after you

Another heart is cracked in two, I'm on your back

I cannot be without you, matter of fact
I'm on your back, I'm on your back, I'm on your back

If you walk out on me, I'm walking after you
If you walk out on me, I'm walking after you
If you walk out on me, I'm walking after you

Another heart is cracked in two, I'm on your back

⇒ beneath a steel sky

free game! Beneath a Steel Sky.

here's some background on the game:

Alone, save for a robot circuit board, Foster must fight for survival... and discover the sinister truth behind his abduction...

In the not so impossible future. In the melting pot of Union City. All man's social problems are coming to a boil. Under the claustrophobic lid of a steel sky.

From the pit of the industrial level to the belly of commercial sector, to the spheres where the rich and powerful play. It's Man against Man. Man against Machine. Man against Time. In an urban hell only you can liberate... Maybe.

⇒ the hardest part

moving! I'm finally getting on with my life...unblocking that chi. Poverty is damn near impossible to break free from but I will persist. I gotta do what I gotta do. No amount of governmental hand-tying or cornering will keep me in this rut forever. It's my time.

And the hardest part
Was letting go not taking part
You really broke my heart
And I tried to sing
But I couldn't think of anything
And that was the hardest part
