looking back at an older post, i just realized i broke the 5k record today!

funny that...I didnt feel like i was running at full capacity.
so the new 5k pb: 39'45" (bests the old record of 39'56" set about 2 weeks ago)

⇒ short burst mode

gymmed, no swim. too cold, health at risk.
progress today, no record. 5.0km in 39'45" and 370KCals.
definetly a good time, but not a record.
was on track for record but conked out.
starting to get comfy with running longer times/dists.
need to cut sugar/fatty intake starting........now

I just figured out why the subway ppl cut their cheese (the slice, not the fart) the way they do: so they can tell it apart. Swiss is that golden, big mac-ish yellow, cut into rectangular halves; cheddar is the other white-yellow cheese which is also in rectangular halves; the other cheese (tasty?) is cut in triangular halves.

⇒ yesterday and today

ok, so I haven't posted in a week BUT here's why:
on fri, sat, sun (21st, 22nd & 23rd) my shins still hurt from running (really hurt) and so I figured the muscles were still building/healing and a week's break wouldn't be any harm. Also, it was easter long weekend so I didn't want to rock up to pool/gym and get surprised with a public holiday closure.

Right now the legs still hurt but regardless, I am running tomorrow.
This past week I went to a couple of job interviews + 1 test...mostly ok...the test was a little frustrating (testing MS Word, Excel and typing abilities) but I'm not bummed or anything...

Had subway for lunch yesterday and today...will post progressive pics soon...
