R A M B O !
not as good as the first preview, but still awesome!

awesomely blunt review of bioshock--at times his accent and vocal speed overwhelm me and I don't follow what he just said but overall a very cool clip and a very incisive review.

⇒ iResign

Dear Boss,

It is with great regret that I write to you to tender my resignation from my role as XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX skills with XXXX XXXX/XXXX XXXX.

I have enjoyed the experience and the people very much and will always have fond memories.

My resignation is effective from today--I will stay on as long as possible and hopefully complete set projects in this time, but my last working day will be XXXX.

I wish you, the XXXX, and all my XXXX/XXXX colleagues all the very best and continued success.

Yours sincerely,
-Me

⇒ Discipline

this is the element which has been eluding me for the last few months. My aimlessness and squandering/lack of perseverance were due to my lack of discipline. I have to teach myself to be strong again. I do undoubtedly believe that uni is tying me down, rather than lifting me up (I should have seen the signs--6 years of suppression!).

Change is a curious thing. Months ago, in my mind, change was instantaneous--just drop what you're doing and take a new course. But the dynamics and inner mechanics have been revealed to me. I can't just burn my bridges and references--consider all the effort and time I put into building my professional reputation. Change has to go through diplomatic and bureaucratic channels. A situation must be presented in which everyone appears to win. That is the only outcome which can be accepted.

ALSO: Today, I had my shots today...3 i think...I got tablets to take and noxious liquids to drink at scheduled intervals...

anyhoo, I'll be pretty immunised, come november...

⇒ bourne 3:this time it's personal!

That'd be the title of the movie if it were put together in the 80's. Probably...

I saw bourne ultimatum yesterday--was ok. The trilogy does get progressively worse, though not by much. It could really have benefited from Doug Liman's direction though. I hate the damn 'shaky' cam! There were two outstanding sequences of the movie--which I won't spoil...otherwise, the movie wasn't as meaningful or strong in storyline as it's predecessors.

Identity: 8.5/10
Supremacy: 7.5/10
Ultimatum: 7.0/10

squash was rough--got thrashed today. I only won 1 game the whole day!
I need to:
1. restore my fitness--it kept me competitive before and was a key part of my game.
2. improve my technique--particularly the backhand--this is the weakest part of my game--I can't quite make the ball go where I want it to, so this is what I need. To win tactically, I need better shot control.

"In the House-In a Heartbeat" by John Murphy

Watched land of the dead recently. Not bad--not as good as 'Dawn' (orig.) but certainly not bad. The gore is crazy!
