this semester's going fasssst!

Oddly, I feel it's going too fast at the same time as not going fast enough.

Well, it's friday and my camera still hasn't arrived. Pfft! Neill Blomkamp is a name to remember. He'll be a major player in the future. I just skimmed an IMDB post about Jackie Chan beating Bruce Lee. Seriously, how little did that postee know?

For the record, JC and Master Bruce have already collided twice (Fist of Fury and Enter the Dragon). Guess who won? The answer isn't JC.

Not that I hate JC, he's one of my childhood idols. I still fondly remember the endless enjoyment I got out of watching his kung-fu, acrobatics, comedy and stuntwork. Armor of God, Operation Condor, Million Dollar Heiress, the Target, Winners and Sinners, My Lucky Stars, Police Story, Police Story 2, Supercop, First Strike, Mr Nice Guy, New Police Story, Project A, Project A part 2, Drunken Master, Legend of Drunken Master, Snake in Eagle's Shadow, Dragons Forever, Rumble in the Bronx, City Hunter, Shanghai Knights, Young Master, etc...

These are the ones I remember the most. I've seen a few others but I thought they were sub-Jackie standard, such as: the Protector, the Tuxedo, Dragon Lord, etc...


I'll do a Jet Li, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Manga list next time.

Neill Blomkamp has been announced as the director of Peter Jackson's Halo. Halo is of course that series of XBox games.

Neill's previous work is mostly commercial but includes that Citroen Transformer ad (you know the one) so this should be interesting.
