gymmed and swimmed today. wasn't easy getting going but i pushed myself. I really tried to crack the sub 40' barrier today but i pushed myself too hard too soon and ended up short. Did the 5km in 42'05", which is normally pretty good but I'm just a little disappointed that I didn't crack the previous record.

Anyhoo, I think I'm startin to make a dent in the super-dense fat cluster in my gut. Is it my imagination or is it gettin smaller? Am I slimmer looking from the side? I definetly look more buff in the chest area and I'm pretty sure I shed about 2kgs. I probably shed more than that in fat or converted it to muscle. Progress at last!

my room feels much better (to me, not the room itself: how do you feel? room: much better). the 'flow' of the room has really changed and I think there is better lighting and ventilation because of the new arrangement. Another remodeling job well done!

Metal Gear Solid: the movie coming soon. As much as we all want David Hayter to play Snake (he voices and even physically resembles Snake) we all know the the studio is 'gonna go with someone more well known'. D'oh! Well I hope they don't totally fuff the movie by getting the Resident Evil, Alone in the Dark director. Or Uwe Balls Boll.

⇒ room changed

gymmed and swimmed. And what a boy!. broke the previous 5km record fo sho! did 5km in 41'15". I find it impressive, because of the progress in such little time and consistency or training. Really did push myself though. Also did other weights, and upper body exercises, etc. stretching, what-not...

I 'fixed' my room late last nite (early morning). The filing cabinet-cum-dresser really blocked up the flow and ventilation, and was quite imposing, being in the centre of the room. It was a bit monolith-like, just standing over me while i worked. Now I've backed it against a wall. It's not in a corner so i guess that's considerably better. Also cleaned up the room. It's friggin clean now, alot less dusty but still a bit on the messy side (some parts)--clean but messy (that does make sense, they're not mutually exclusive ideas!).

Still have alot of baggage to sort/toss and clothes to fold/hang up. I need to get rid of a chair from the room. The problem with our house is that there is just too much fuggn furniture. Also the design of the house prevents efficient usage of the vertical space. And mostly poor lighting. But the house does stay cooler in summer.

This new arrangement configuration really opens up the feng shui. The airspace and flow of the room feel much freer. Will post a pic when I remember to take one during daylight.

Anyhoo, my priorities have suddenly changed. I been kicked off youth allowance because of my new degree. As such, I'm starting to come out of my funk and think seriously about the impending months. Was this the kick up the ass i needed? So now I need a job!
