Apple launched Leopard two days ago...*wow*...I'm still happy with Panfa, but it would be nice to get some widget action happening and use cover flow and quick look...But I'm too tight right now and I don't think Leopard will support Diablo II (which runs in OS 9).
Coinciding with the Apple OS launch is L's final Med school exam. She's done now. Not to jinx her, but we all know she passed and she's pretty much Dr L now. Congratulations L, you deserve everything, even after all the mean and nasty things/ways you've tormented your loved ones over the years, we still wish you the best and are so proud of you!

Daylight savings in motion again...I just lost an hour...shit!
Doughy-er than ever--I must have hit about 80kgs now! (started the year about normal weight ~72kg) & been on break/unemployment for a week and 3 days now...
japan's latest crime-combating tech:camo-wear. I'm not joking, they design clothes/accessories to resemble regular street items such as vending machines, sewer covers, etc. Read the full article here
i quit (officially stopped work) Thurs, Oct 18th, 2007. I've been working since Mar. 0Xth, 2007. I know it's a short time, but I learned so much about work and myself. In addition to uni, I felt like I've lived 2 lives this years (felt twice as long)--also, during winter, I was pretty much sick for all 3 months!
terrible, terrible week at work. Mostly because of impossible deadlines I'm supposed to work to. If you're gonna throw me work at the last minute, then I'm gonna give it to you late. Thems the breaks. I mean, I'm not slacking off at work; if anything, I'm working harder than ever, but everything I do takes a certain amount of time, and if I don't have that time then: 1. my work suffers 2. i won't be happy. you won't be happy. nobody will be happy.
And another thing: stop distracting me with your incessant banter, I thought this was a professional workplace, not a mess hall. And stop heaping work on me when I've already got something else to do. It's impossible to complete things on time when you keep throwing me more and more work, especially at the last minute.
enough work rant for today...
i don't wanna be hard on microsh!t, but they do bring it on themselves...have they ever had an original idea? jeebus! this is disgusting...OR maybe they were the first to come up with the concept of copying everybody else! An original thought by Microsh!t! Huzzah!
StarPaperCraft Starcraft? Check. Papercraft? Check. Can I get a hell yeah!
cool Samus vs. Master Chief. Animation missteps once or twice, the cuts are sometimes too quick and the choreography is way over the top, but it's damn enjoyable and did put a smile on my face. I digitally applaud you, Monty Oum.
not full work just yet, not break, not uni, let's call it 'limbo'
At least til the first 3 months are past.
first true day of career defining work. Was nerve-racking as hell. Had upset stomach all day. Seems like a nice place to work. I'm running on fear that at any moment they're going to 'let me go' because of my gross ineptitude in marketing assisting and average graphic design skills.
Started the day at 6:50AM (!!!) and caught bus at 7:30AM to Town Hall. From there I caught the express to Granville and walked back a bit. Was crazy hot but we have air-con work is climate controlled. Met everyone (?) - Jacqueline (marketing/hr), Teresa (marketing/client liason), Sheria (sp?) (secretary?) , Edward (accounts), Tim (it/tech-support), John (da boss).
I have my own desk, workstation (Mac), office chair, printer, scanner, whiteboard, draws, etc. Could be ok!
