Michael Jackson: dead!

the king of pop, the moonwalker himself, dead! I can't believe it, 50 is not old, especially in developed nations like America. What happened?!?

V. sad. Particularly towards the end of his life, it became a circus.

some of my fondest memories involve watching Moonwalker (one of my favorite movies), and fave music videos; thriller, smooth criminal, black or white, remember the time, billie jean (both live and music video), playing moonwalker the video game, and listening to the Dangerous album while doing stuff.

Tributes will be pouring in and I am not immune. His contribution to music and entertainment will never be surpassed:

I doubt there will ever be anyone to create such a level of artistry in music, lyrics, music videos, dance moves and live performances.

farewell mj...you'll be sorely missed.
...we've been together, for such a long time, now music, music and me...

⇒ big day in the world

RIP George Carlin (1937-2008). George died on 22nd June, 2008. Your unrelenting humor and incisive wit will be sorely missed. Nary a work-minute goes by without struggling to contain giggles from your fine standup rants. There it is George, I used 'died', I didn't sugar-coat it into 'passed away'.

Wimbledon tournament 2008!!! Starts today! I'd love to see another Federer v Nadal final showdown! With Nadal emerging victorious?!?!

Very low productivity at work today. Oh sh!t...didn't get anything done!

⇒ bourne 3:this time it's personal!

That'd be the title of the movie if it were put together in the 80's. Probably...

I saw bourne ultimatum yesterday--was ok. The trilogy does get progressively worse, though not by much. It could really have benefited from Doug Liman's direction though. I hate the damn 'shaky' cam! There were two outstanding sequences of the movie--which I won't spoil...otherwise, the movie wasn't as meaningful or strong in storyline as it's predecessors.

Identity: 8.5/10
Supremacy: 7.5/10
Ultimatum: 7.0/10

squash was rough--got thrashed today. I only won 1 game the whole day!
I need to:
1. restore my fitness--it kept me competitive before and was a key part of my game.
2. improve my technique--particularly the backhand--this is the weakest part of my game--I can't quite make the ball go where I want it to, so this is what I need. To win tactically, I need better shot control.

"In the House-In a Heartbeat" by John Murphy

Watched land of the dead recently. Not bad--not as good as 'Dawn' (orig.) but certainly not bad. The gore is crazy!
