⇒ bike day!
finally bought a new bike. My previous bike was something my parents got me almost 20 years ago from paddy's markets that had plastic rims.
I got a Giant Rock/W (2010) - it's everything I need and way more than I'm used to. Very happy. I'm not a pro biker and this is my first geared bike, so I'm feeling pretty good. I'll post a picture soon.

⇒ christmas and boxing day recaps
nothing special. just bummed around. bought a pair of pants at the rabid sales on boxing day. i just dont care about that conformist/commercialist bullshit anymore. I mean, the feeling's good, and the holiday, but seriously, inventing a day in which people HAVE TO spend money is special how? When did this become acceptable? Getting gifts = nice. Having to spend on gifts on everyone, particularly when you're low income and unemployed = not nice.

⇒ '07 merry christmas
another year gone by already...its highly unusual, but I'm actually in the exact same position I was in this time last year! No job, no certainty, only the growing sense of emptiness and doubt...
well I won't ask for anything this Christmas/New Year, that way I'll finally avoid disappointment.
Merry Christmas to all. Best wishes and may all your dreams come true. ♥♣♦♠
