Watched the Aus Open 2007 semi-final: Andy Roddick [6] vs. Roger Federer [1].

Federer CRUSHED Roddick. The whole thing took just 83 minutes! Federer ripped Roddick's confidence to shreds 6-4 6-0 6-2. I get the feeling that this was revenge for Kooyong.

Every shot Federer hit was pretty much a winner. He ripped apart Roddick's new game and reminded men's tennis that he's king of the hill. I thought I was gonna see something epic like the previous US open finals the two contested especially since Roddick edged out Safin in the 3rd round (who defeated Federer 2 years ago), beat Federer at Kooyong, developed some new weapons with Jimmy Connors' help and was up 4-3 in the first . Not to be. Federer won 9 straight games to demoralize Roddick. How is he gonna recover from this? I mean his confidence was so high coming into this tournament but he's just had everything crushed.

Federer was finally playing in familiar form. He wasn't playing in top gear for most of the tournament if you ask me. Tonight he stepped up to the form which strikes fear into any tennis player who isn't Nadal. This is the flawless, dominating monster of tennis I support. Bring the pain!

Today didn't do much else. Too overcast for gymmin. Watched both women's semifinals. Vaidisova was doing well but then she lost her way and Williams came through. Sharapova downed Clijsters. But she struggled alot with her serve which was frustrating to watch. Not quite in top playing mode.

Federer crushed Roddick. I can't believe it. You have to see it.
