⇒ fallout from Gmail hacking

Gmail was hacked by someones in China this week. Shit hit the fan, yo:
  • ie exploit used

  • micro$h!t issues warning

  • servers behind attack id'd

  • political aftermath

  • germans told to avoid IE

  • great firewall of china

  • google switches security to https

  • in the end Google responded to attacks by uncensoring it's Chinese results, which has long term ramifications for any other business dealing with China. Depending how Google comes away from this, it will set precedent for others. It's like a cyber cold war.
