⇒ end of the decade

1999: exactly ten years ago, I got (and quit) my first paying job at McDonalds. Y2K was big shit.

Every year since:
2000: studying (relatively) hard for HSC during sweltering heat. The millennium turned too.
2001: chillin after satisfying HSC results and recovering from appendectomy
2002: earning some casual cash as a postie and kitchenhand during uni summer break
2003: earning some casual cash as a postie during uni summer break
2004: earning some casual cash as a postie and shop assistant during uni summer break
2005: earning some casual cash as a postie during uni summer break
2006: fighting off the ennui caused by a tough final year at uni
2007: readjusting to sydney after a month overseas. Unemployed to boot.
2008: feeling good after a (relatively) successful year.
2009: recovering well from a very poor year.
