Steve Irwin will be sorely missed. I was highly shocked and in disbelief to hear that Irwin has been killed. The man was so full of vitality, hard to believe he's gone now. He was 44. full story.

I first started watching Steve in the early to mid-90s. My dad loves those kind of programs--with lots of jungles and dangerous animals and what not. Steve was something else though. Over time he became the face of Australia and I identified with him because he's just a simple man making his way through the world the only way he knew how.

I'll miss you Steve...
